Hello!
This is Tsunoda, a third-year doctoral student.

On July 17-18, 2024, we, including Professor Maruta, Professor Morii, and myself, presented at the Conference on Combustion & Flame Instabilities in Confined Geometries held in Manchester, UK.

The conference was incredibly stimulating, with a lineup of experts in combustion theory so impressive that it felt almost overwhelming. Engaging debates went on for hours, and we were fortunate to receive valuable feedback from Professors Paul Clavin and Paul Ronney regarding our series of presentations.

The British cuisine was surprisingly varied, ranging from quite delicious to some dishes with perplexing flavors. It was noteworthy that locals often recommended cuisines from other countries rather than local options! On the other hand, it was interesting to experience the traditions of Manchester, such as the University of Manchester celebrating its 200th anniversary this year and pubs that have been around since the 15th century.
