Farewell Party for Matsumoto-kun
2025.3.23
Hello, this is Miyazaki, a second-year master’s student.
I have successfully submitted my master’s thesis and completed my graduate studies.
On March 21st, we held a farewell party for our fellow graduating student, Matsumoto-kun, together with members of the Maruta-Morii and Nakamura laboratories.
While enjoying good food and drinks, we shared a warm moment with heartfelt messages from our professors, as well as a special video message from Tamaki-san, who is currently studying abroad at KAUST in Saudi Arabia.
Since I joined the lab as a master’s student, I only had two years to spend with Matsumoto-kun. Still, during that time, he supported me on many occasions and I’m truly grateful for his help.
Through our research and everyday conversations, we were able to build a relationship where we supported and learned from each other.
I have a feeling we’ll meet again someday, and I’m looking forward to that.
Once again, congratulations on your graduation. I sincerely wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
As for us—those of us continuing on to the doctoral program—we will keep pushing forward with our research and doing our best.
