The 67th KOSCO Symposium
2024.5.29
Hello! This is D3 Tsunoda.
I participated in The 67th Korean Society of Combustion Symposium held in Yeosu City, South Korea (located about 3 hours west of Busan by bus, at the southwest tip of Korea) from 24/05/23 to 24/05/25. This time, as the first exchange of young researchers between Japan and Korea, I presented on behalf of our laboratory.
Lately, my research has become quite complex, and the questions at recent conferences have mainly focused on confirming assumptions. I’ve been frustrated by not being able to delve into the substantive discussions, but this time I received questions that delved into the deepest aspects of the content, which was a relief!
Yeosu City is known for its delicious seafood, including palm-sized octopus, sea squirt sashimi, and even various dishes that even Koreans can’t read the names of, such as a type of fish (maybe a type of sea bream?). I enjoyed various dishes that are not available in Japan.
It was a business trip where I experienced warm hospitality both at the conference venue and outside. See you again!
